Country Bill’s on SE Woodstock is also open for Christmas Eve dinner. I’ve never eaten there, so I can’t comment on the food, but the bar sounds awesome.

You ought to put a big note somewhere, reminding people
that The Heathman in Portland is NOT
the same as Hudson’s Bar & Grill in the Heathman Lodge in
Vancouver!  I love Hudson’s, had wonderful buffets there in
the past.  Yesterday I was looking for one this year, I called
Hudson’s, only to find that they were not doing the buffet this
year.  Your note on the Heathman said that they were offering
the buffet. So I got totally confused (not for the first time).
Anyway, got my brain f**t fixed and after much looking, I finally
found a Christmas Day buffet (Tippy Canoe in Troutdale), but there
sure didn’t seem to be very many buffets offered this year. Do you
have any idea why Hudson’s didn’t do it, or do you know if they
will offer it again next year. Thank you  MARIEL
