John Gorham has announced that he will be teaming up with investor Kurt Huffman of Chef’sTable, and Dan Hart from Prost, to open a new venture in the second Lovely Hula Hands Space at 4057 N Mississippi Ave. The focus will be a neighborhood bar with “grown-up food”. Think of all the bar food you love, that is never made with great ingredients, with lots of beer on tap, as well as a wine on tap program.
The name will be Interurban, which comes from the hybrid trains that ran up and down Mississippi in the past.
John is the owner of the wildly successful restaurants, Toro Bravo and Tasty n Sons
More news to come later.

pssst – it’s Kurt Huffman. just a little typo, thought you’d like to know.
Time for a new picture of John, I think…
Got one today!
Yay! That beautiful building deserves a great place in it. It’s been so sad to see it post-Lovely Hula Hands.
Another great reason to stay in the hood. Any time line on this?
Rumor was Whims (Nostrana) had scouted it, read she’s working The Pearl. Bravo to the brave!!
