John Gorham to Open New Mississippi Venture

John Gorham

John Gorham has announced that he will be teaming up with investor Kurt Huffman of Chef’sTable, and Dan Hart from Prost, to open a new venture in the second Lovely Hula Hands Space at 4057 N Mississippi Ave. The focus will be a neighborhood bar with “grown-up food”. Think of all the bar food you love, that is never made with great ingredients, with lots of beer on tap, as well as a wine on tap program.

The name will be Interurban, which comes from the hybrid trains that ran up and down Mississippi in the past.

John is the owner of the wildly successful restaurants, Toro Bravo and Tasty n Sons

More news to come later.

Food Dude

"I have a wide-range of food experience - working in the restaurant industry on both sides of the house, later in the wine industry, and finally traveling/tasting my way around the world. Whether you agree or disagree, you can always count on my unbiased opinion. I don't take free meals, and the restaurants don't know when, or if, I am coming."
