Uptown Billiards –

Make your reservations for UBC’s Valentine’s dinner. On February 1, Nate and I will randomly select one of the reservations – and that person’s date will inspire the menu for UBC’s Valentine’s Dinner. That lucky (and soon to get luckier) winner will bring their unsuspecting V’s Day date in to join Nate and I for a glass of wine Feb 1-7 sometime, and there and then we will discuss their deepest and darkest culinary fantasies. On Februrary 14, Nate and I will deliver a 4-course dinner paired with exquisite wines that will satiate those burning, unfulfilled desires!

That’s as much as we can help. The rest is up to you. Small print stuff: dinner with wine (and therefore your date’s taste) cannot exceed $75 per person. Dinner will start at 7:00pm, but we’ll offer you a glass of champagne upon your arrival any time after 6:30. We love vegetarians and vegans, but we need all lovers at UBC on Valentines to love meat, too. We will publish the menu as soon after Feb 1 as possible and anyone who objects to their co-diner’s fantasy choices will be able to bow out of their reservation without explanation. There are only 5 tables available at this point, two are already reserved (one for yours truly). Dinner will cost $75/pp plus gratuity for couples; $65 for tables of 4 or greater – yes you can increase your table size after we set the menu. More info here.
