The restored Hotel Oregon has a large bar/restaurant at street level, with lots of comfortable tables under the trees along the little downtown districts. But the real secret is a lovely deck on the roof. Enter like you are going to the restaurant, but turn right and take the little elevator to the “Rooftop Patio” floor. You’ll find an odd labyrinth of different stairways and patios – much larger than it looks. There are lots of umbrellas, beautiful views of the valley, strings of lights, etc. Maybe it is just me, but the food here seems a bit better than the rest of the chain.
Pets are allowed at the sidewalk seating on the street, but not on the rooftop deck. As far as I know, the rooftop isn’t wheelchair friendly, but double check.
