    Closed. R.I.P

A Farewell to Pok Pok [from Andy Ricker] From Facebook: It’s Loi Krathong in Thailand, a festival where one floats a small boat made of a slice of banana trunk and decorated with folded banana leaves with a candle on it and other offerings down the river, carrying away your negative thoughts and transgressions from the year before. It seems like a good time to write this … [Read more...] about The Pok Pok Empire is Finished

The Best Thai Restaurants in Portland I always expect to see Pok Pok at number one, but the big surprise is that Earl Ninsom has three restaurants on this list in the top four. With all of the Thai restaurants in Portland, this is quite an achievement. Another interesting change; Red Onion has been in the top half of this list since they opened. This year they fell all the way … [Read more...] about Reader Survey 2017: Best Thai Restaurants Portland

The newest branch of Pok Pok in the building that previously housed The Bent Brick, is now open in NW Portland. One huge change for the restaurant chain is half of the dining room is available for online reservations. I don't believe they have tried this before. Though the menu is smaller than the Division location, it features many greatest hits including the chicken wings and … [Read more...] about Pok Pok NW Portland Now Open
