2021 Update: all the changes due to Covid-19 have made it almost impossible to make sure everything is actually open, but we are doing our best! We are checking back frequently, but double-check, as the situation is very fluid. I will be continuing to update and add to this list it over the summer.

Another of the extremely popular Lardo Sandwich chain. Big patio in the new Mercantile development of Lake Oswego. Partially covered with large umbrellas providing shade in the open area. Good food!
Incredibly quaint/cute coffeehouse located in the Maplewood area of SW Portland. Small shaded/wheelchair-accessible porch on one side. Large open gravel area next to it – tables scattered about, some with umbrellas, other areas shaded by trees/plants.… Read the rest

Lovely shaded patio surrounded on all sides. Shade cloth overhead. I haven’t been yet, but it looks gorgeous.
Comfortable place on a quiet street in the South Waterfront area. Lots of tall trees provide shade to the small patio area out front. Lebanese cuisine
Spacious wooden deck with a nice view! Covered and open areas, big umbrellas with pockets of shade. Big on tropical drinks.
