Gabrielle Hamilton on Prune

April 23, 2020 by PDX Food Dude Leave a Comment

I’ve been holding back on posting anything lately, but this article by Gabrielle Hamilton of NYC’s Prune restaurant is so good I want to make sure more people read it. Whether you are a chef dealing with all the changes over the past few months, owner, investor, or restaurant-goer, this will, through Gabrielle’s voice, give you some idea of what it is like to be a restaurant owner in this difficult time. She asks the question, “My Restaurant Was My Life for 20 Years. Does the World Need It Anymore?” It’s beautifully written.
