The first place winner for Best Barbecue in Portland is always the same. However, Smokehouse 21 (now expanded to Smokehouse Tavern) is continuing to pick up votes, rising from 6% in 2013. More interesting, is that Podnah’s huge share has dropped – it received a whopping 72% of the vote in the last survey, but has now dropped to 46%. This is still a huge lead, but it looks like other restaurants such as People’s Pig have started to eat away at their margins.
