#sharemyplate and help end childhood hunger

By PDX Food Dude Last Update January 31, 2014

I don’t normally write an intro to a sponsored post, but this is a nice fundraiser from the good folks at Sysco and No Kid Hungry. For every picture posted on Instagram with the hash tag #sharemyplate, Sysco will donate .50 to No Kid Hungry. It’s quite simple, and will make a difference. It doesn’t hurt that you could win some big dollars for your photos:

    1. Go out and eat and snap a picture of your meal
    2. Upload the pic with Instagram or Statigram
    3. Tab your pic with #sharemyplate.Sysco
    4. Describe the dish in the caption and tag the restaurant.

Food Network celebrity Chef Robert Irvine and a team of Sysco chefs will judge the ShareMyPlate photo contest, with the prizes $1,000 for first, $500 for second, and $250 for third place. Help put an end to childhood hunger in America.
