    The 2012 Food Haiku Contest Results!

    The judges are all over the place on their favorite haiku this year, so I’m throwing it out to you. If you could take the time to look over the top haiku below and vote in the poll on the right side of the page, I would appreciate it. One vote per person, please! Voting will end on Sunday evening.

    The winner will receive two general-admission tickets for the event on Tuesday May 8th (a $170 value). Tickets will be mailed to winner before the event.

      Stop repeatedly telling people how to properly vote! If they can’t/refuse to follow simple instructions, I’d rather their judgment and taste not count.

      I vote #8. #7 is certainly funny but I think #8 takes it for the story it tells with just three simple lines. It follows what I personally consider a signature of Haiku, which is a calm and pleasant read, which resonates in the mind long after it was read.
