Mute crystal balls hang,
Tendrils, clusters, shimmering,
Vineyard chandelier

 

Runner up with 24%:

work day is over
pour a glass of pinot noir
let your troubles go

    Thank you, Food Dude, and sponsors, for creating the haiku contest. May I use my winner’s prerogative to mention my favorite haikus in the contest?
    The alliterative Andrea’s three P’s.
    John the Bastard’s witty varietal still gets me giggling.
    Minh-Triet Pham’s tablecloth baptism.
