Detour Cafe to Close

January 8, 2016 by PDX Food Dude Leave a Comment

The popular Detour Cafe at SE 30th and Division has announced that they are closing. First opened in 2001, the Detour gained popularity for breakfast and lunch with an emphasis on organic, natural ingredients whenever possible. Here is the notice from their website –

After 15 wonderful years, we have decided that our last day of business at Detour Cafe will be Sunday, February 14, 2016.

We want to thank all of the lovely people who have come through these doors over the years. Detour Cafe has been a beautiful experience and we look forward to continuing the many friendships we have made here.

We also plan to continue making friends, and good food, right down the street at our sister cafe, Ford Food and Drink, at SE 11th and Division. Look for some Detour favorites to appear on the menu there soon!

Please don’t be sad that we are moving on…be joyful that we had this time together. We will always treasure it!

Peace and love,
Becky and Scott.

Classy exit. Best of luck to them and their staff.
