Distillery Row “Cocktails Demystified”

By PDX Food Dude Last Update March 31, 2014

Cocktail iconI think a lot of folks will find the “cocktail demystified” on Saturday the 28th appealing. Distillery Row is holding an event showcasing local products from Eastside Distilling, Vinn Distillery, New Deal Distillery, Stone Barn Brandyworks, House Spirits, and Rolling River. The distilleries will take turns presenting cocktail seminars throughout the day, including cocktail samplers. What could go wrong?

Demonstrations and cocktail samples will touch on subjects such as:

  • Easy cocktails for home parties
  • Making your own simple syrups
  • Use of herbs to enhance cocktail flavor
  • Pickling your own garnish
  • Cocktail tools and equipment
  • Balancing cocktails and the mechanics of ice

Whether you’re a novice hoping to make your own home cocktails or an experienced pro looking for that unique technique to up your game, The Cocktail Demystified will teach you how to conquer the cocktail!
