Email Subscription Changes for a Few of You

July 18, 2021 by PDX Food Dude Leave a Comment

Woman WritingWhen PortlandFoodandDrink started back in 2004, email subscriptions were provided by Google’s Feedburner service. Now that we have 16,000 subscribers through them, Google gods have announced they are discontinuing this feature. If you are getting new post notifications that include “Email subscription changes and…” at the top, and want to continue getting the emails, you’ll need to take a moment to change to the other service, otherwise, everything will remain the same. If your email notifications DO NOT include the “changes” verbiage at the top, you subscribed under the newer system and can ignore this post.

There is no charge to you, simply go to this page and enter your email address. The Google service will go away shortly, but if you don’t want duplicate posts in the meantime, you can click on the unsubscribe button at the bottom of the old emails. Unfortunately, I can’t do this for you. Sigh.

I appreciate your patience while some changes start happening here.
