FEAST 2022 Cancels

April 26, 2022 by PDX Food Dude 2 Comments

Feast Portland announced on Facebook today that they will postpone all live events this year.

FEAST Portland 2017A sad announcement from feast this morning:

After some thoughtful discussions and heartfelt considerations, we have decided to postpone live events at Feast Portland this year. Trust us, we are as disappointed as you but we know it’s the right decision to make. With all the challenges the hospitality industry is still facing, we want to be mindful of what we can do as a community to be more helpful and impactful and return at time when we’re all ready to celebrate again. @feastportland is not going away. We’re just going to pause a bit so we can come back stronger.

Thank you to all our fans and supporters, our chef collaborators, our partners and sponsors, our friends and colleagues. We look forward to gathering again soon when the moment is right. Until then, keep eating at restaurants, keep ordering takeout, and keep shopping and supporting our local makers in this beautiful place we get to call home.

Still don’t understand why, oh well. This could help the community and industry but I guess why even bother.

My thoughts exactly Joe Cool, just doesn’t make any sense. The moment is right now, why wait?
