For those who can’t stop playing video games long enough to eat Christmas dinner, GAME, a UK retailer is offering a “Christmas Tinner” – nine layers of food in a single can, “so gamers can feast on the latest releases and the finest food at the same time”. Each layer has been sealed in gelatin, and the meal is designed to be eaten immediately upon opening – yes, cold. Pop open the can and indulge yourself with a hearty breakfast of scrambled egg and bacon. Move on to two lovingly cooked mince pies. Next, it’s turkey and potatoes, and…
Their PR company says “It’s the ultimate innovation for gamers across the nation who can’t tear themselves away from their new consoles and games on Christmas Day – the first all-in-one festive feast in a tin.”
The creator, Chris Godfrey added: “I tried to ensure when creating the menu that all the flavours complemented one another and it was designed so that gamers can eat on layer at a time, starting with breakfast and finishing off with Christmas Pudding — the perfect Christmas Day meal without any of the fuss”
If you are lucky enough to live in London, it is available in GAME’s Basingstoke store for £1.99.
