About lil’ wares:
Opening June 1, 2015, lil’ wares is the new restaurant concept from Chef Johanna Ware of Smallwares and Barwares. The restaurant, located at 4537 NE Fremont Street in Portland, Oregon, features a 30-seat patio, and is open everyday for lunch from 11am-5pm, including happy hour from 3-5pm. The ‘inauthentic Asian’ cuisine is a further exploration of Ware’s eclectic, yet refined style that is focused, but not defined by any one influence. Ware opened her first restaurant, Smallwares, in 2012 after working for some of New York’s best chefs and her food and restaurants possess a quirky, cosmopolitan style that fits perfectly into Portland’s culinary scene.
