Pok Pok Wing to Open in SW Portland

Now that Andy Ricker has closed his NYC locations, he’s opening another branch of Pok Pok Wing on SW Barbur Blvd in the old Humdinger Drive-in across from Safeway. The Oregonian broke the news yesterday.

A little news: @pokpokpdx will be taking over old Humdinger space on SW Barbur Blvd and reopening as a Pok Pok Wing around the new year after some renovation. The owners Susie and Gordon have stepped away from the business, after operating it for 37 years, due to health issues and sold the business to us. We found them through an ad they placed on Craigslist looking for a buyer. The Humdinger is a bit of an iconic SW Portland spot and we know many folks will miss it and Susie & Gordon; we have met some of you already and hope to be able to serve you in the future. ?
