Reader Survey 2013: Best Seafood Restaurant in Portland

It is ironic that the restaurant which garnered the most votes in the Best Seafood category went out of business last month. Riffle NW would have been slightly ahead of the second place winner. However, I am happy to see that a restaurant that many people don’t even know about came in right behind it. Perhaps there is hope. Also interesting, though they placed third last year, the upscale Ringside Fish House didn’t make it onto the 2013 list. Neither did Southpark. Yes, there is hope.

First, let’s look back:

2012: Bamboo Sushi, Southpark, Ringside Fish House, Riffle NW, Cabezon.

2011: Jakes, Southpark, Bamboo Sushi.

647 total votes. Survey says:

  1. Roe – 3113 SE Division St., Portland 97202 Map (503) 232-1566 (walk through to the back of Block & Tackle)
  2. The Woodsman Tavern – 4537 SE Division St., Portland 97206 Map (971) 373-8264 My review
  3. Jake’s – 401 Southwest 12th Ave., Portland, OR 97205 (503) 226-1419 Map

Jakes doesn’t even deserve a mention. They have become such a disappointment with all of the other good seafood in town.
