Renard Cafe and Bar Closes

December 23, 2015 by PDX Food Dude Leave a Comment

NewspaperRenard, the French restaurant which opened last May in the old St. Jack space on SE Clinton Street, has closed. From their website –

We hate dampening the holidays with the news, but the time has come to tell you all that Renard is now permanently closed due to poor sales. Our time was short, but we would like to thank all of our diehard fans… the regulars who came 3x per week (or more!) and our friends, family and supporters who helped us realize our dream. Even if it didn’t last, we have no regrets & cannot adequately express our gratitude to you all.

There have been a lot of restaurant closures over the last three months, which is unusual for this time of year.
