    Over 50 PDX Restaurants to Raise Funds for OR. ACLU This Weekend

    News IconOver 50 Portland restaurants have pledged to donate 10% of sales this President’s Day weekend to the Oregon chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union.

    The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization whose stated mission is “to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed to every person in this country by the Constitution and laws of the United States”. From the press release –

    “Participating restaurants include, 24th & Meatballs, 87th & Meatballs, Angel Face, Apizza Scholls, Associated, Ate-Oh-Ate, Ava Gene’s, Aviary, Beast, Beer Belly, Bollywood Theater, Chefstable Group, Clyde Common, Coopers Hall, Country Cat, EaT: An Oyster Bar, Ecliptic Brewing, Expatriate, Fire & Stone, Foster Burger, Grain & Gristle, Grassa, Gravy, Hot Lips Pizza, La Moule, La Taq, Lardo, Loyal Legion, Luce, Mediterranean Exploration Company, Mi Mero Mole, Miho, Mississippi Pizza, Multnomah Whiskey Library, Navarre, Noble Rot, Nonna Tavern, Observatory, Old Salt, Over and Out, Ox, Pambiche, Philippe’s Bread, Pine State Biscuits, Podnah’s Pit, Pok Pok, Por Que No, Radar, Real Good Food, Restaurant St. Jack, Roman Candle, SuperBite, Toro Bravo, Tusk, Woodsman Tavern, Xico, XLB, Yakuza.”
