    Another Chef Change for Metrovino

By PDX Food Dude Last Update March 16, 2014 1 Comment

Todd Steele, owner of Metrovino, has announced that he has decided against having sous Victor Daras take over the position. Instead he will move recently promoted Dustin See to chef. According to Steele, “I had never had him cook for me on the side, now I feel a little silly for not doing so, but not as silly as if I had let him get away. While eyebrows might be raised now, they won’t be for long; he’s really good.” According to Steele, “Brunch is still very much a go”.

It’s nice to see someone who doesn’t try to hide issues behind a PR spin, but just seems to be honest.

This may be a perfect example of honesty NOT being the best policy.
