The newest version of Bamboo Sushi will open on December 17th at the intersection of S.W. 12th and Stark Streets. According to the owners, the design is much different than their other locations – “The restaurant will feature all exterior walls as full, floor-to ceiling, German steel and glass sliding door panels that create a lightness and beauty, adding to a gorgeous, rustic, Tokyo-style interior dining experience. In the warmer months the restaurant will be open until late-night and will feature patio seating for an additional 30 guests around the front of the building. The most unique new feature of this space however, will be a very special, 3rd floor rooftop “secret” garden that will seat an additional 30 people with some of the best views in Portland. Additionally, this location will be the first in Bamboo Sushi’s seven years to offer lunch!”

The menu will feature many new and special dishes, most notably, from Bamboo Izakaya. Because this restaurant was able to be built from the ground up this will be the first hybrid concept for Bamboo to feature both sushi and Izakaya cuisines.

Looking forward to this new location……rooftop sushi with a view and lunch to boot. Can’t get better than that.
