Boxer Ramen to Offer Free Bowl Ramen at New Alberta St. Location

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Boxer Ramen is opening the doors to a new restaurant in the heart of bustling Alberta Street, the second location for the highly-acclaimed ramen shop. The opening marks the expansion of the restaurant that has won the hearts of Portland noodle lovers, being named one of the 10 best noodle spots in the city. Slurp your way through the opening with a free small bowl of ramen on Thursday, January 22 from 5-9pm.

“We’re so excited to bring Boxer Ramen to the Alberta District,” said Katie Poppe. “Downtown Portland has been really fun, and now we’re bringing noodles to the Northeast, just in time to liven up the winter.” The signature ramen bowls make up the heart of Boxer Ramen’s menu with fresh ingredients and tasty flavors that fill the belly and warm the spirit.

Boxer Ramen currently offers four styles of ramen:

• Tonkotsu – Shio: traditional pork broth, pork belly, soft poached egg, scallions
• Spicy Red Miso: spicy pork broth, pork belly, soft poached egg, scallions
• Shiitake – Shoyu: Shiitake mushroom-pork bone dashi. Shiitake mushrooms, soft poached egg, scallions
• Vegetarian Curry: vegetable stock, coconut milk, yellow curry, tofu, mushrooms, corn, scallions

Customers can enjoy the offer on Thursday, January 22, limit one per person. Beverages will be available for regular purchase. The full menu will be available on Friday, January 23.
