    Portland Coffeehouses Open on Christmas Day

    <updated with more shops open>

    A few notes…

    Some of us need our coffee, even on Christmas Day. I don’t know of any coffeehouses other than these two Barista locations which will be open. Some Starbucks locations will be serving customers, though locations are hit and miss, and really, could one call Starbucks a coffeehouse? Thanks to commenters for the tips on Albina Press and Heart Coffee Roasters.

    Barista: NW 23rd: 8am – 2pm. 823 NW 23rd Ave, Portland, OR 97210  Map

    Barista: NE Alberta: 8am – 2pm. 1725 NE Alberta St, Portland, OR 97211  Map

    Albina Press Hawthorne: open from 8-2: 5012 SE Hawthorne Blvd, Portland, OR 97215

    Heart Coffee in SW: open 9-3 on the 25th. So says the sign on the door at least. 537 SW 12th Ave, Portland 97205

    These fine baristas are giving up their Christmas morning to feed your addiction. Be thankful. Smile. Tip well.

    As recently as today, there have been a few additions to my list of restaurants open on Christmas eve and Christmas day. You can view the updated list here.

    Restaurants open Christmas eve.

    Restaurants open Christmas day.

      I would think the hotels with restaurants will be open…….grab a go cup and take a walk.
