Ford Food & Drink Closes for Good

August 29, 2020 by PDX Food Dude Leave a Comment

Ford Food and Drink Restaurant in the historic Ford building at SE 11th and Division has officially pulled the plug forever. They are selling off everything they own today… glasses, chairs, cans of food.

Ford Food & Drink ClosingThe restaurant was named for the Ford Model-T assembly line that was located there beginning in 1914. On Facebook, the owners said, “We had a good run. Thanks for everything, Portland. We love all y’all. Be kind to yourselves and to each other. And follow @sadies_landing.”

Ford Food and Drink was an above-average cafe, with a breakfast biscuit that had devoted fans. They were well known for staying open late with live music events. I’m sure the restaurant will be missed by the community.

You can see our entire list of closures here.
