Lovejoy Bakers to Open Sorellina

June 13, 2015 by PDX Food Dude Leave a Comment

Cheff JJ at Lovejoy BakersThe owners of Lovejoy Bakers have announced they will be opening a new Italian-inspired restaurant, Sorellina. Apparently, this restaurant will be replacing Sal’s Famous Italian Kitchen, which has faltered over the years. As Lovejoy Bakers are the owners of Sal’s (and the Pizzicato chain), it sounds like a re-branding to me.

Here is the the info they sent out:

We will keep you posted with more details soon, but here’s the short version: The Lovejoy Bakery masterminds (including Chef JJ featured in the picture) are teaming up to bring you another delicious dining experience: Sorellina. The new restaurant will feature a seasonally driven menu with fresh house-made pasta.

Note: this is not to be confused with Sorella, which Justin Wills is opening on the coast.

Sorellina will be at 33 NW 23rd Place, Portland OR. You can follow them on Instagram and Facebook for updates.
