    Metrovino to close

By PDX Food Dude Last Update March 17, 2014 2 Comments

    Metrovino Restaurant
    Metrovino

Metrovino R.I.P? According to a reader, Metrovino will be closing. According to the tip, Saturday was their last weekend service. Attempts to make a reservation for this week on OpenTable results in a “restaurant offline” message. When Metrovino opened on the North end of the Pearl District, it was replacing another failed restaurant DF. The restaurant received mostly positive reviews over the years, but seems to have suffered a fatal blow with the departure of its chefs, the Denton’s, who went on to open the incredibly popular OX restaurant in Northeast Portland.

Sad to hear of another restaurant closure. It will be interesting to see if yet another restaurant has the gumption to take over the space.

So, I guess those of us who have gift certificates to Metro are out of luck?

Most restaurants do offer refunds if you contact them
