    Nehalem River Inn to Close

I received a note this evening that, after nine years, the Nehalem River Inn on the Northern Oregon Coast is closing this August. Located between Tillamook and Seaside, the Inn is known as one of the better restaurants on the coast, and a truly nice place to stay. Owners Ryan and Nicole Hamic have built a national reputation, with positive listings in widely read guidebooks such as Fodor’s and Frommer’s.You may not know of the inn, but you probably have heard their catchphrase, “Come for dinner, Stay the Night”.

Ryan and Nicole are leaving the hospitality business to start new careers in health care. As far as I know, they will be closing August 12th, so if you are a fan, now is the time to go.

I wish Ryan and Nicole all the best. They ran THE BEST restaurant on the coast for 9 years, and I will really miss it and them.
