Now is the time to plan ahead for a safe ride home.

If you will be celebrating in the Portland Metro area, TriMet is providing FREE rides starting at 8 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, and extending MAX service to make sure everyone gets home safe and sound. Buses will run on regular weekday service. Details at trimet.org/nye

Other ideas for a safe ride home include taking a cab, renting a limo, calling a friend, or using a designated driver.

Looking for the perfect host/hostess gift?  Volunteer to be the designated driver!

The OLCC distributed more than $416 million in the last two years to Oregon’s General Fund, Cities, Counties, and Drug/Alcohol Abuse Programs. This money helps fund essential services such as schools, police and healthcare for Oregonians. See the distribution of dollars to Oregon on OLCC’s Website.
