    ¡Oba! Restaurante Announces New Executive Chef

    Oba Portland Chef Luis Contreras¡Oba! Restaurante has announced Luis Contreras will be joining their team. He was most recently Executive Chef at Mamacita and Padrecito in San Franciso.

    Chef Contreras has completely revamped Oba’s menu with his modern spin on seasonal Latin American dishes, crafted with excellent, locally sourced ingredients. From the ahi jicama tacos to his hanger steak topped with watercress and chimichurri, he will continue to take Oba in a fresh new direction.
    Hailing from San Francisco’s Michelin rated Mamacita and Padrecito, Contreras is thrilled to join the Oba family.
