Pok Pok Noi Changes Phone after Clergy Outrage

By PDX Food Dude Last Update January 18, 2018 5 Comments

This is normally a very sophisticated site which would never stoop to posting phone number changes on the front page, but… Andy Ricker has had an interesting time over at the just-opened Pok Pok Noi.

A person (who’s apparently a prominent member of the neighborhood clergy!) whose personal number is similar to our original number has been getting calls from people asking for to-go orders, which has infuriated him to the point that he is calling our staff and SCREAMING at them when this occurs. To avoid further conflict, we have decided to change our number. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you, our valued customers. The new number is 503-287-4149.

This is where the difference between the seemingly composed Andy Ricker and me becomes clear. I would have dropped the chicken wings from the menu, and added breasts – small, large, and extra-large. I would not have changed my number.

I guess that’s why I’ll never be a big business tycoon.

Also, when I stopped my car so you could cross the street a few days ago Andy, I appreciated the appreciative nod. Just sayin’.

Talk about a wing and a prayer.

I don’t even want to think of the phone calls that would be made if Andy took the wings off the menu!

Ok, then I would have renamed them “Angel’s Wings”

What? A member of the clergy who’s religious conviction hasn’t brought him peace? Surprise, surprise.
