Oso Market + Bar to Close

Last Update August 23, 2016 1 Comment

Wine bar Oso Market + Bar will close September 2nd.

I am very surprised to hear about this closing. Oso Market was a comfortable place with a nice selection of old-world bottles, and I always enjoyed stopping in for octopus and chorizo. In April 2014, Bon Appetit Magazine called it one of the “7 wine bars you need to drink at now”. From Oso –

Portland, we thank you for your love and loyalty over the last three years,” the bar wrote in a press release. “It has been the energy, enthusiasm and fine tastes of our customers that made us who we are. We will take these next few weeks to celebrate the great relationships we have made along the way as well as honor the hard work and talent of our staff. We look forward to a new set of opportunities and making more time for our friends and family. Long live great food and great wine! We are sad to say goodbye! Thank you to our great staff and customers who supported us over the last three years. Join us over the next two weeks to celebrate the next chapter!

Oso Market is at 726 SE Grand Ave in Portland until September 2nd. (503) 232-6400

Reader Survey 2017: Best Indian Restaurant in Portland

As every year, the vote for the Best Indian Restaurant in Portland is so lopsided, it’s hardly a contest. No snub intended; the winner has three big things going for it: two locations, low prices, and good … Read More...
