The new Smith Teamaker tasting room on SE Washington is a great place to visit, have a tea flight, and learn from the very experienced staff. They also have a small seating area on the old loading dock that is shaded by an overhang. So here’s the plan: visit one of the many local restaurants, such as Olympic Provisions SE, or Produce Row Cafe. Stroll over to Smith Tea to relax and digest. Then cross the street to the tasting room at House Spirits Distillery. Sounds like a perfect afternoon to me.
No food, no coffee, just tea. Wheelchair access is via a little outside elevator. Monday–Sunday 10am-6pm
Our Southeast Tasting Room is in the heart of the Central Eastside Industrial District. To accommodate our growth, the new space is approximately 13,000 square feet – almost double the size of our Northwest Thurman location. Guests of the spacious Tasting Room will be able to view our production team through our glass window (typically running tea Mon-Fri 10am-4pm) as well as the tea lab where Tony Tellin, our Head Teamaker works with his team doing sample cuppings and tasting tea garden lots as they arrive from origin fresh after harvest season
