Ox Restaurant to Open Whey Bar

This Tuesday, August 14th, Greg and Gabi Denton of Ox Restaurant will debut the Whey Bar. Nestled behind Ox, it will offer atmosphere and libations to diners waiting for tables next door. Bar Manager Jamal Hassan will be mixing up favorites from the Ox cocktail list alongside new options such as a daily punch, barrel-aged Fernet on tap, and a small list of cocktails featuring whey – the watery part of milk that separates from the curds as a biproduct of making cheese.  Small bites will be available to tide over and to excite before the main event. The bar will raise its garage door and feature overflow seating in the sun for as long as the weather permits.  Join us while you wait for dinner or simply stop in for a beverage.

Ox and The Whey Bar are open for dinner Tuesday through Sunday beginning at 5:00pm.  Ox accepts reservations for parties of six or more.
