Electronic Fork Replaces Need for Salt

This is going to sound like an early April Fool's joke, but I promise, it's not. Researchers at Tokyo University have developed an "Electro Fork", which creates salted flavors into unsalted foods, by using electricity as a seasoning. I kid you not. New Restaurant “Slate” to Take Over Equinox Space

A press release today details the future of the Equinox restaurant space, which closed on March 27th. Slate, a new restaurant will have a soft opening on April 1st April 2nd. From the description, it is difficult to see what has changed other than the staff. Owners Tara George and Michele Stultz also owned Equinox, and Belly Timber, both now closed.
