Private Dining Space Listings Enhanced

September 23, 2015 by PDX Food Dude 1 Comment

Oba Dining Room PortlandThe private dining room rentals section is pretty popular in the run-up to the holidays, so I’ve rewritten the code to allow you to quickly narrow down locations that will fit your needs. Just click the tags that interest you, and you will get a list of all the dining rooms we know about that match your query. For instance, “Italian”, “Downtown”, “Full Liquor License”, “Medium Venue” will display a selection beginning with Bluehour. You can then click on the restaurants that interest you for full information about pricing, capacity and so on. You’ll find the search form here.

If you would like your restaurant added to the listing, or would like to modify your listing, click here for the form. It’s easy to fill out. The more information you give me, the more likely it is that people will find your restaurant.

I’m still working on adding some Ajaxy goodness to the form and will be separating out neighborhoods to their own list, but everything seems to be working just fine. Suggestions? Let me know.

Thanks for rewriting the code. I have no idea how long that takes or how tough it is to do, but I appreciate it. It has made things much easier during my searches. It is so easy to use and very clear on choices. It allows me to find exactly what I want for the specific occasion. Do you think there is anyway the I could select the area then the rest is randomized? I think that would be fun for nights that I am looking to try something new. Thanks for the update and thanks for the post!
