Silk Re-brands, Now Phở Van Fresh

By PDX Food Dude Last Update April 24, 2015 Leave a Comment

Silk Vietnamese restaurant and bar at NW 10th and Glisan in the Pearl District has re-branded to become Phở Van Fresh.

Silk was one of the first somewhat upscale Vietnamese fusion restaurants in Portland, drawing generally good reviews and a trendy crowd, while focusing on some less common Vietnamese dishes. However, over the years its popularity seems to have waned, and the food quality dropped. Now the owners have transformed Silk into Phở ̉ Van Fresh, a more casual Vietnamese eatery. In the new incarnation, all ordering is done at the counter. The food is more focused on the ever popular pho , a Vietnamese noodle soup. They will continue to be open for lunch and dinner with a daily happy hour.

1012 NW Glisan St., Portland 97209
