As you probably know, Bent Brick owner Scott Dolich has taken over the kitchen, and revamped the menu. He’ll be having a premiere on Wednesday with a benefit for four NW Portland schools. You can read more about the event here.

I like what I see on the new menu:

Meats and Sides

PK Hot Dog with Ketchup, Mustard, and Chips 10

Spicy lamb sausage, Smashed Chickpeas 12

The Hamburger Dog (w Cheese) Chips 12

Seafood Sausage, Choucroute Garni 14

Duck and Sage Hunters Style Sausage, Duck Fat Jojos 14

New-Mex Style Chorizo, Soft Taco and Cotija Cream 12

Roast Game Meats and Larger Cuts

Roast Pork Leg, Blood Orange and Fennel Relish 13

Grilled Carmen Ranch Flat Iron Steak, Smoked Hay Butter 29

Duck Breast, Persimmon and Coriander Chow Chow 14

Poached Chicken Breast, Tarragon Mustard 15

Sides {6 each}

Duck Fat Jojos

Smashed Chickpeas

Hazelnut Baked Beans

Drunken Radicchio

Charred Brussel Sprouts

Creamed Kale

Sweets {7 each}

Apple Crisp

Chocolate Cake

Pinot Pear Sorbet

If you’ve never had it, Scott cooks the best duck in town, bar none.

    It would be nice to see Scott back in the kitchen………it’s been a long time coming, maybe a little too long. We had to ‘break up’ with his restaurants a few years ago due to lackluster & overpriced meals. Welcome back Scott!
