    Speaking of Top Ten Lists… Sahagún Caramels in NY Times

    Now that I have bashed “top ten” lists, here is one I’m actually paying attention to. Just in time for Valentine’s day, The New York Times has done a tasting of salted caramels, and Portland’s own Sahagún Chocolates is one of the top ten. The editors describe it as:

    Robust and Rustic
    Sahagún

    Meant to be eaten in one bite, this bittersweet caramel has a syrupy center that flows freely and lusciously once you crack the rather sturdy chocolate shell.

    I couldn’t agree more.

        They are incredible. But that photo is outdated. They are round.
